I've been watching the development at
Milestone Cottages in Donnington for a little while now. It's a small
row of nine 3 bed houses just a mile South of Chichester's train
station. Having been fully sold, a couple of plots have come back to the
market in recent weeks and I think they offer a great low-maintenance
return to investors.
Currently on the market with both Stride & Sons and Sims Williams, the remaining plots start from £250,000.
These have rented for around £975pcm previously, returning a decent 4.7% yield considering it's a brand new property complete with warranty should any maintenance crop up (could be one you save agent's management fees on and look after it yourself?)
