Buy-to-let deal of the week: 3 bed house in Chichester, £210,000, 5% yield

I've featured a couple of 2 bedroom houses on the Arundel Park estate as my previous 'buy-to-let deal of the week'. This time, for not much more than the 2 bed houses, is a 3 bed end-terrace on Caernarvon Road.

Admittedly it needs a little updating inside, including a new kitchen, decoration and carpets. And whilst it benefits from gas central heating already, unfortunately the wooden framed single-glazed windows should really be replaced for new double glazing.

Even factoring in around £10,000 to do all the necessary work (which should provide a decent uplift in value) I feel this sizeable property in a popular location could be a good investment. On at an asking price of £210,000, once done up I think it could rent for around £925pcm, representing a solid 5% yield.
