This two bed flat isn't the nicest apartment in Chichester, what with it's odd-shaped and slightly small rooms, electric heating and lack of a shower over the bath (that definitely matters to tenants!) BUT it's in a fantastic position on the East Walls of the city centre.

The price is pretty good too - a two bed apartment in Chichester's city centre for just £200,000. It's made a tidy sum for it's current owner, who paid just £74,500 in March 2000 (making a whopping 168% return in 16 years). This certainly proves the property can deliver capital growth.

In the meantime, its central location should see it tenanted for around £850pcm, giving it a solid 5.1% yield.

As always with flats, be sure to check the service charges and length left on the lease; two factors that can turn a decent looking gross yield into a far less attractive proposition.
