It's out of this world!!...well, actually
it's in Chichester.
We are blessed to have one of the largest
planetaria in the UK right on our doorstep here in Chichester. It's a
registered charity, which has been run by volunteers and astronomy enthusiasts
in a dedicated building to the rear of Chichester High School since it was
opened by Sir Patrick Moore in 2001.
I have visited numerous time myself,
enjoying a wide variety of shows as I gaze up at the projector from the
100-seat auditorium. The talks are always beautifully and enthusiastically
presented; towing the fine line between being interesting, yet educational.
